In our teacher training workshops we weave together theory with experiential learning. The training offers the opportunity for self-discovery when addressing principles of transformative education through the example of Kaleidoscope Puzzles. The concepts developed through the training can then be applied to any area of learning, as you deepen your knowledge of yourself, and through that discover new ways of teaching and learning. With our training you not only widen your understanding of the foundations of an integral education, but also become well practiced in this innovative and universal learning material - Kaleidoscope Puzzles.

The training workshops are suitable for teachers working with children ages 4 -14 in any school setting/country, as well as for individuals working in other education related fields.
Kaleidoscope puzzles Workshop (ONE) - Original and Combo puzzles explore the The Kaleidoscope Effect.

About the educational material
As an educational material designed for integral education, Kaleidoscope puzzles offer joyful, experiential and play-based learning. Puzzle pieces can be put together in infinite ways, like the turn of a kaleidoscope, to allow the mind to open up and become flexible, to see different perspectives, possibilities and solutions. It's YOGA FOR THE MIND - students improve concentration, creativity and spatial awareness through regular exercise. Stimulating neuroplasticity, this exercise supports the brain to form and reorganize new connections, pay attention to detail, become agile, and problem-solve. Being flexible and open-minded are essential aspects of social and emotional learning, as children growing up in the world today need to develop new ways of seeing and understanding the world.

For schools in India transitioning into NEP2020, the Kaleidoscope Puzzles offer social and emotional learning (SEL) as a mindfulness activity, and with regular practice, focused attention and concentration are developed as well as a wide scope of curricular integration in other subject areas. NEP 2020 states that mathematics and mathematical thinking should be given increased emphasis throughout the school years. This should be done through "a variety of innovative methods, including the regular use of puzzles and games that make mathematical thinking more enjoyable and engaging" (NEP 2020, p.15).  By working with concepts like spatial orientation, analytic skills, and understanding of geometric concepts through patterns and symmetry, mathematical thinking and spatial awareness are developed. Kaleidoscope Puzzles also offer art-integration by working through a visual and artistic medium. The material can be explored individually or collaboratively with a friend.

Although originally designed for children, kaleidoscope puzzles can be used by educators outside of the school sector as well. Encouraging global education and lifelong learning, and are suitable for every culture, all languages, and people of all ages. They can offer meaningful exploration for immigrant and refugee children/adults, be used in community/after school centers, as well as for individuals in prisonsWith their progressive levels and simple play, the kaleidoscope puzzles also support mental agility and memory in aging adults and can be integrated into the activities offered in care homes for the elderly.
