 Conflict to

harmony

Conflict is everywhere around us. This is an exercise to bring awareness to areas conflict, and an opportunity for the personal inner work needed to move from conflict toward harmony.

Combine  the 3 HARMONY boxes:

SINCERITY (blue), HUMILITY (green) & RECEPTIVITY (orange)

Exploration & Reflection

Work on the floor.

1. Organise the 300 puzzle pieces into piles with the same puzzle pieces together. Use only one of the 3 centre pieces.

2. Start building a pattern design from the centre piece, and build outward. Allow shapes and colours to connect one piece to the next. Your final pattern will be a square of 17 by 17 puzzle pieces. You will have 11 puzzle pieces left over.

Conflict to Harmony

If you  are 2 - 4 people playing together,  put one card at a time, taking turns and adding to each other's patterns.

Playing this game, it will happen many times that you feel a conflict in the placement of

certain puzzle pieces -  a disharmony. They just don't seem to fit together with the others. Accept that they are there, accept where and how they are placed. You can not change this. Instead continue to build and focus on the bigger picture.

3. When you have completed the pattern- stand up and look at it from different perspectives.

Reflect on the experience of harmony in the pattern.

What happened to the puzzle pieces that were in conflict with their surroundings.

Are they held by the whole?
